Several years ago I found myself in line at the drive-thru window at a doughnut shop in Little Rock. Next door to the doughnuts was a heart hospital and on the other side of the doughnuts, there sat a bank. Feeling like these facts should be shared with the world, I wrote a smart-aleck letter to the editor for the local paper and, surprisingly, they published it. My wife loved it and said I was a good writer. Since then I’ve believed her and continued to write and publish.
